Based on the terrifying short stories from author Nathan Ballingrud, this series steers clear of the usual monsters under the bed genre and instead focuses on something altogether human and more disturbing.

The Good Lord Bird

If you enjoy a historical miniseries, then The Good Lord Bird will be right up your street!
Based on James McBride’s 2013 novel, the series follows the tale of a former slave who joins abolitionist John Brown as he seeks to end slavery and racial prejudice in his own unique style.
Quirky, tragic and with the odd glimpse of humor thrown in for good measure, this miniseries is a must-watch for anyone that enjoys great acting and historical drama.
