Ratched

Netflix – September 18th 2020

If you’ve ever seen the 1975 classic, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, then you may have been left wondering what caused Nurse Ratched to become so awful.

In this new series from our favorite streaming service Netflix, we delve deeper into the story of one of the big screen’s most notable nurses in this humorous, chilling and often silly series that looks certain to have us all stuck to our screens.

Featuring Sarah Paulson of American Horror Story fame, expect a little gore and camp humor from this one.

Fargo Season 4

FX – September 27th 2020

Fargo fans will be thrilled at the return of their favorite series as season 4 hits our screens this September.

With a brand new cast, an unfamiliar setting and gripping storyline that we are pretty sure will have us hooked from the start, expect to see standout performances from Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman, Ben Whishaw and Timothy Olyphant. This series, we enter a dark representation of 1950’s Kansas City where warring crime families go head to head. We can’t wait!

Monsterland

Hulu – October 2nd 2020

Fans of horror stories will love getting the chills from new Hulu series Monsterland.

Based on the terrifying short stories from author Nathan Ballingrud, this series steers clear of the usual monsters under the bed genre and instead focuses on something altogether human and more disturbing.

Thought-provoking and subtle, this series is the perfect way to get the family in the Halloween mood.

The Good Lord Bird

Showtime – October 4th 2020

If you enjoy a historical miniseries, then The Good Lord Bird will be right up your street!

Based on James McBride’s 2013 novel, the series follows the tale of a former slave who joins abolitionist John Brown as he seeks to end slavery and racial prejudice in his own unique style.

Quirky, tragic and with the odd glimpse of humor thrown in for good measure, this miniseries is a must-watch for anyone that enjoys great acting and historical drama.
