Spooky season is upon us and that means one thing; it’s time to start prepping for your Halloween festivities. If you want to make your party one to remember – even if you’re only celebrating with your immediate family due to restrictions – you’ll need to whip up some ghoulishly good cocktails to impress your guests.
Here are the perfect easy-to-make spooky cocktails for your Halloween themed party – perfect for serving up from your outdoor movable serving bar if you live in a warmer part of the US, or for settling down in front of your indoor TV lift cabinet with a movie if not!
Black Magic
This cocktail is a real crowd pleaser and its dark shimmery liquid is sure to entice your guests. Sharp and tangy with a Halloween twist, try this one at your next ghoulish gathering.
You will need:
To make, pour the black vodka, lime juice, and syrup into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake for approximately 30 seconds until the liquids are combined. In a martini glass, sprinkle a little pearl dust and strain the cocktail over the top. The pearl dust should spread around the liquid to make it sparkle, but if not add more in and stir to create the ultimate Halloween drink.
Poison Apple
The clue is in the name with this one – this cocktail is tart and sour-apple-flavored, and lime green in color so it screams Halloween. It is so tasty you’ll be sipping on more of these than you should!
You’ll need:
To make this cocktail, pour the whiskey, apple schnapps liqueur, and sour apple mixer into the cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake to mix all the ingredients for around 30 seconds, and drain into glasses to serve. You can get creative with your glassware and serve in test tubes, or a giant punch bowl with some dry ice for a table centerpiece.
Bloody Cosmo
This is a classic with a twist, so it is sure to please your partygoers while building on your spooky atmosphere.
You’ll need:
To make, pour the vodka, Cointreau, and white cranberry juice into the cocktail shaker, fill with ice, then shake for approximately 30 seconds. Wet the edge of the martini glass and dip in red sugar to turn the rim red. Drain the cocktail into the glass then add a drop of red-colored concentrate to resemble blood.
Enjoy!
