Each and every Cabinet Tronix cabinet is designed at our dedicated studio in San Diego, California. All our designs are exclusive to us and aren’t available elsewhere. What’s more, a growing number of our units are patented or patent pending due to their uniqueness.
We’ve carefully selected a small number of premium, sustainable, ultra hardwoods for our cabinet bodies. Examples include IPE, a Brazilian tropical hardwood that has a fine grain and is classified as one of the most durable hardwoods in the world. It has an A1 fire resistance rating and is naturally dense and tough. It’s also resistant to rot, mold and bugs and doesn’t warp or splinter, even with regular daily use.
Some designs are crafted from Iroko African teak. Naturally resistant to rot, mold and insects, it has a beautiful natural grain and is strong and dense. Iroko is a waxy wood which makes it an optimal choice for outdoor use because it’s inherently water resistant – you’ll often find it used in boat building for example.
It’s not just the big details that matter. Often, it’s the smaller details that make the real difference. Because we make all our cabinets ourselves, we retain full control of the entire design and build process. We maintain strict quality control measures throughout.
