October 07, 2019
If you’re a sports fan, there’s plenty to look forward to over the next few months. While summer may be over and we’re all considering retreating back inside, the prospect of game day in front of one of our stylish traditional pop up TV lift cabinets such as the exquisitely detailed Greenwich design, means we don’t mind waving goodbye to summer one bit!
Here are a few of the sporting events we’ll be loading up on our big screen TV this fall – are any of these on your horizon too?
ATP World Tour Finals
If you’re a tennis fan, the ATP World Tour Finals are the pinnacle of the year. After 11 gruelling months and 4 grand slams, which player will be the last one standing as the season winds down? This year’s finals will take place in London 11 – 17 November so set the date in your diary and a reminder on Tevo.
The World Series
It’s one of the biggest sporting events on the calendar so we’re sure we aren’t alone in counting down to this year’s World Series. It takes place from October 22, so you still have a short window of time to order one of our in-stock TV lift units to kit out your den or game’s room ready for the first game. Played out over the best of seven, the World Series promises some of the best baseball of the year as American and National League champions duke it out in front of tens of thousands of fans.
NFL
It’s football season! We seriously couldn’t be more excited that football season is here again. Sundays simply aren’t the same without the big game – and as with any major sporting event, they look better on a big screen. Invite the guys round, load up on game day eats and get comfortable because this season looks like it’s going to be a great one.
Nascar at Dover
Most of the year’s auto sport calendar is done and dusted by fall but there is still Nascar at Dover to look forward to this fall. Taking place early October, this is one of the last opportunities of the year to see race cars full throttle so it’s definitely worth keeping the weekend of October 05 free. The main Nascar and Indycar series don’t start up again until early 2020 so make the most of this last race by fuelling up on drinks and snacks ready for the lights going green.
