The 4th of July is just around the corner, and we’re here to help you make it your best ever. From entertainment suggestions to snack, appetizers and drinks, we have your holiday essentials covered. Whether you’re celebrating with friends, hanging at home with the fam or having a low key day in the yard, here’s how to make it a great one…
Nothing says holiday like the entertainment. This year, why not mix it up with your own outdoor movie marathon? Our designer pop up outdoor TV lift units are a great way to maximize every moment of summer and mean you can fill your big screen with all of your favorite movies. If you don’t want a movie marathon, cue up your favorite movie channel, get a big game rerun up or a DVD of a few epic concerts or your number 1 box set. Whatever you choose, make sure it’s something easy to watch (no complicated thrillers or mysteries!) and sunny. We recommend a few classics like Top Gun, Independence Day (of course!) and Greece to kick off your playlist!
Don’t have an outdoor TV lift unit? Order one now from our in stock collection and start planning your Labor Day blow out!
Even if you’ve got some T-Bones on order to throw on the grill, appetizers are where it’s at come the 4th of July. Go all out with these 50 ultimate 4th of July apps – and don’t skimp on the dips. Beer cheese dip, pretzels, bacon cheeseburger dip, mini mac n cheese, s’mores, tortilla chips, nachos.. load up your table and let everyone dig in. If you don’t fancy catering for a crowd, order in or make it a pot luck with everyone assigned an app or drink.
You don’t really want to be tending bar all day so take the easy option – and impress your guests to boot with a few clever twists. First up, make up a couple of pitchers of cocktails so guests can grab a drink when they arrive. Sangria is an easy option, just add red or white wine to a big jug, with lots of chopped fruit, a little orange juice, dash of brandy and sparking water. Swap the wine for bubbly or make a jug each of red, white and rose.
If you have a bar cart or small table, make a serve yourself station. Either put all the fixings for another batch of your sangria on the table for guests to help themselves or, set out a few bottles of different flavored gins with mixers for a South of France vibe. Don’t forget beers, wines and soft drinks packed in coolers of ice.
